Program Design

Places emphasis on the disciplines of visual arts, where individuals can engage in creative self-expression such as painting, drawing, and creative crafts.

 

In the Workshop Setting

Individuals can positively interact with those around them, as well as build upon his or her own personal esteem. This is a guiding principle of the JMoCA City Kids Art Factory.

This program provides professional instructors in the various disciplines of the visual arts. The instructional periods will be scheduled in relation to activities of the program participants. Our instructors are scheduled to give one-on-one instruction or group structured classes.

 

Program Conclusion

• Students will have an exhibition of their work on site at local public facilities or at JMoCA, at the end of class schedule.
• Students will develop a variety of art products geared for the local art market.
• Students will receive certificates upon course completion, as well as awards for creativity and product development.
